The Book of Light: The Heart Opening

Mother Mary Message

Dearest Children of Love, be collected in your hearts and still in the mind.  Be not afraid. Truth is the highest Light.  Truth is still, quiet, and has nothing to prove.  There is nothing to judge and nothing to concern yourself with. A child is quite a good listener and so you must be a quite a good listener.  A child is strong, powerful, and curious in love.  Do not feed them fear, and doubt. It is not real.  The idea and concept of love is not real either. LOVE IS ALL THERE IS. Love is beyond the body, mind, and can not be explained. But can be felt in the heart, a choice is made up in the mind, feel the heart. How does it resonate with the choice? Intuition is the hearts language. There is a difference, but feeling will help with this.  No child has every been judged. Truth is the highest light and light refers to a light body, when we find ourselves in the dark way we are heavy, burdened, confused, and it is always simple to come back, by feeling into the choice made.  Feel into and with it.  And keep choosing the light way. Be not afraid.  There is no such thing as loss. Continue to feel open and follow the shepherding of Love. Love is life and life is light and playful. If you choose to play in the darkness, that is okay too. It will bring you closer to Light.  Darkness, and Light are not meant to scare, but are one in the same. They are helping each other out.  Call on me when you need the love of the mother. Simply call on the divine mother for guidance from the heart. I love your hearts in Truth. I love when you speak Truth, love Truth. Trust in Truth. Stand in Truth.                                                                        o-COLM-TOIBIN-TESTAMENT-OF-MARY-facebook

Is that so?

I love this wonderful Zen Koan, please read it and sit with it’s meaning for your life.

 Is That So?

The Zen master Hakuin was praised by his neighbours as one living a pure life.

A beautiful Japanese girl whose parents owned a food store lived near him. Suddenly, without any warning, her parents discovered she was with child.

This made her parents angry. She would not confess who the man was, but after much harassment at last named Hakuin.

In great anger the parent went to the master. “Is that so?” was all he would say.

After the child was born it was brought to Hakuin. By this time he had lost his reputation, which did not trouble him, but he took very good care of the child. He obtained milk from his neighbours and everything else he needed.

A year later the girl-mother could stand it no longer. She told her parents the truth – the real father of the child was a young man who worked in the fishmarket.

The mother and father of the girl at once went to Hakuin to ask forgiveness, to apologize at length, and to get the child back.

Hakuin was willing. In yielding the child, all he said was: “Is that so?”

You Are An Instrument

How many of you have every played an instrument in your life?

With a musical instrument you are learning the foundation of playing.  The foundational notes, simple music, and where to place your hands, body and so forth.  As you learn and discover the foundation you will then be allowed to explore a little more of the music on a complex basis.  As you learn and trust more in your playing, you build trust, confidence, and playfulness.  You also build more patience, because as you trust more, you are given more to handle.  When you forget you can go back to the foundation of the playing.

This same way of playing music is the same way in which we rediscover who we really are.  First we learn the foundation, then we build on that, and before long we have become a fine tuned instrument.  Now just like the instrument, everything is already there to play it. Just like you, everything is in you, but you first have learn how to use and bring out what is already there.

So that is why we have meditation, and prayer. They  both tap into what is already present and all you have to do is  listen and from the listening take action. Once you shift your consciousness then you are able to take full action. Full action is spirit, mind, and body working as one. Like an instrument.

Prayer is a place of deep listening, but most of us have been taught to ask, tell, plead in prayer. This is not prayer.  Since all outcomes are already present in you, then it is your job to affirm and recognize what you might not see.  By listening and getting quiet you will be able to hear the insight, inspiration, which will then insight the mind and body to move correctly.  Correct action is inspirational not survival.  Survival is struggle, powerlessness, lack of understanding the self, and an old way of being in the world. Each of us has been through this space enough times to understand how difficult it  is.  So yes from y perspective meditation and prayer are one. They align you in the reality of unconditional presence (God) and allow you to move freely in things.  THey take you off of the outside and put you smack in possibilities.  You are possible all the time. Your instrument is amazing and must be understood.

This is why many people call me for sessions. My job in working people is to guide them on how to use their instrument in the best possible way, and in the highest way possible in business, life, family, money, and spirit.  Then we part and they are on their own.  And a new group comes.  The great thing for me is each person is their own creation and creator, so it makes my job wonderful. No two snowflakes are a like. Each person has something wonderful to bring the planet and discovering that is awesome.

So I encourage you to discover YOU!

I want to know who you are?

Last night I was honored to attend a dialogue on my friends new new book entitled a A NEW WAY TO BE HUMAN. It was in Los Angeles with Robert Taylor and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.  When Robert and Tutu first met, the Archbishop asked him, “Robert tell me who you are, not what you do?”  That inspired me to write this poem and so here it is.

I want to know who you are?

By David Matthew Brown

I want to know who you are?

I want to know who you are?

I want to know when all have left you-

When all is against you

When you are down,

Feeling no hope-

I want to know who you are?

I want to know when all is going good

Or bad if you can be the same person

I want to know what you yearn for

What you celebrate-

What pushes you to love past what you know-

When there is no one to do it-

No one next to you to inspire you-

I want to know who you are?

I don’t want to know what you have done

I don’t want to know what you do

I want to know who you are?
When you are upset with God-

Do you yell and scream at God?

Do you rip your heart open to tell your partner how much you appreciate them?

When you feel alone, lonely or shamed-

I want to know who you are?

I want to know if you are willing to throw the past away and start over-

Can you do that?

I want to know if you can forgive yourself and me and just say YES YES YES

Without doubt, confusion, and trust God knows what it is doing-

Can you love your fellow man and women when they are kicking you?

Can you love yourself when others won’t?

I want to know who you are?

Do you need to be discovered, be extraordinary, or

Are you happy to be ordinary?

Can you celebrate your friend’s success like it is your own?

Can you stand in fear and know the truth?

Can you try something new?

Can you stay committed even when you feel hurt?

Can you know that hurt can be healed?

I want to know who you are?

Who are you?

Do you collaborate with God in love and loving others everyday?

Even when you don’t know why?

Can you see how blessed you are?

I want to know your bigger YOU-

When you tell me someone cheated on you, or cheated, or lied-

I want to know if you can forgive them, not for them but for you-

And for them, even you don’t understand why-

I want to know the you that only loves and values yourself-

I want you to respect and value you

Not because of the work you do, not because some fool is attracted to you an wants what it can’t have-

But because you value you- you value others

Because you have seen your story and empathize with it-

That you can empathize with others-

I want you to discover who you are-

Not because I want it but because

You have no idea how big you really are-

Can you throw everything that you thought you knew away?

Can you see your partner with fresh eyes, and shower them with appreciation and value and respect, because dammit they are doing it for you?

I want to know who you really are?

Do you know God loves everyone?

Do you know this God has no idea of who you aren’t?

It is with you now and forever-

Do you know that you are a child of this God?

Do you know we are family?

I do. I do.

And I love you because you are loved-

And I can only love what God loves.

So tell me who are you?

What burns in your heart to express this?

Express it my love, express it-

Because this time I am not moving-

I am going to stand in this fear and trust in love-

Real love-

And I am going to trust that god loves you and me and us and we

Can you take all the crap that you have been through with others and stop projecting it on me and trust that this is real?

I want to know who you are, not what you do-

So who are you?

I am listening…

Sweet angel…

You Don’t Own God

I had the chance to listen to three people debate on God.  One believed strongly that his God was this way, and the other believed his God saw things another way, and then another gentlemen threw in the mix, “I don’t believe in God,”  that is when I laughed.  It came like a flash, “you don’t own God”.”  God isn’t a belief, as you can see belief is separation and it doesn’t feel like it is about belief. It feels like most debates with people on God are based on ownership. With ownership comes rules. That is probably why most people are turned off by organized religion because it takes ownership on the omnipresence and declares their side is right.  That doesn’t feel like a loving presence. If there is one thing most mystic’s have uncovered is that God is love.  That feels like God loves everyone, which it feels like that was the point of Jesus and Buddha’s teachings. Love no matter what. If someone isn’t loving, then forgive and move on.  But you know God, this presence which is everywhere is right where you are and the person is as well.  Discovering this presence is a personal journey. The OUR FATHER is amazing when you can remove the religion from it.  Just meditate on the words OUR FATHER. It doesn’t suggest your father and not mine, it doesn’t say believe in me or else, it asks you to remember that we are one, to understand, bring wisdom to this OUR FATHER. If the word father rubs you wrong then put in LOVE.

TODAY MEDITATE ON: OUR FATHER, just allow the words to be and contemplate them in your heart.

Flowers Speak

This planet is alive, and so all life is wisdom.

Today take some time to be with nature.  What ever you choose, whether it is a flower, tree, plant, or rock, sit with it.  Just be with it. No words. No where to go. Simply be with it.

For example if you are with a flower. Sit with the flower. Gaze at it, understand it, and then if a question about your life comes to mind, ask it. That’s right ask the flower. You will receive an answer that will help you, change your perspective, guide you, move you, or even heal you. All life is filled with the highest intelligence and wisdom, just like you.  At first you may feel a little weird. But after awhile you will love this easy way to go outside and let nature instruct you on your life.

Love, love, love
